Our Story is simple.  We were founded by two women with a dream and a vision to share their love of dance with kids and adults.  We thrive on technique, terminology and determination.

"I love the journey a dancer goes on when they learn a new dance. One day it might simply be the fun of running through the choreography, and then next day it might be emotional and an expression of that emotion through the same choreography. It's beautiful and different each day, and I love getting a front seat to that kind of story." - Nicholas

McLemore (A Chorus Line, 42nd Street, Hello! Dolly). Cary has performed professionally for more years than she cares to admit; also, she has choreographed for theatres, high schools, and pageants for the Miss America Organization, as well as been a guest instructor and competition team adjudicator for various dance studios across Kentucky and Tennessee. In addition to dance, Cary has worked with middle, high school and collegiate cheer squads as a coach and choreographer. When not teaching or performing, Cary works in the communications field and loves spending time with her family. Cary is also a member of the Southern Association of Dance Masters

Rachel Davis, Instructor

Rachel Davis is a local unicorn (IE native). She started dancing at the age of 6, because she was terribly shy, and her parents wanted her to “Slay that dragon”. Under the direction of Patricia Hill, she went on to receive her dance certification for teaching through Southern Association of Dance Masters. She has always been active creatively in one form or another; singing, acting, dancing, drawing, writing and photography to name a few. Because of those passions she danced in college, with the Nashville Ballet, and performed in local plays and musicals. She took a 25-year hiatus from dance and has returned this past year. She not only found her passion for dance and performing again, she also loves combining another passion of investing in others through teaching. Body work through dance heals our souls. She is excited about being a part of Elite and fostering an environment in her classes of acceptance of oneself, encouraging each other and love of movement.
