Our Story is simple.

We were founded by two women with a dream and a vision to share their love of dance with kids and adults.

We thrive on technique, terminology and determination.

Meet our Team

  • Christy Osisek (Owner/instructor)

Jazz, Acrobatics, Modern, Contemporary and Pre-School Dance

Born and raised in Nashville, Tennessee, Christina "Christy" Osisek began her dance journey at just three years old. Under the mentorship of the late Mrs. Patricia Hill and Mr. Randy Coleman, Christy focused her sights on a passion for movement that would continue her education in modern dance and ballet for years. Training in the Cecchetti ballet method her technique took her to multiple stages.

Throughout her formative years, Christy showcased her talent by auditioning and performing for various prestigious productions, including the Nashville Ballet's production of The Nutcracker, performances for the Nashville Cats indoor football team, Disney Worlds Electric Lights Parade, Opryland USA, and the CMA Awards show. Her dedication and talent were further recognized when she successfully tested for membership in the Southern Association of Dance Masters (SADM) and the Chicago National Association of Dance Masters (CNADM).

To continue her growth as a dancer and choreographer, Christy trained under Nan Giordano and Caesar Salines. She holds certification with the Nan Giordano Certification Program  (NGCP) in Jazz dance.

As a choreographer, Christy has created multiple award-winning competition and performance pieces across contemporary, modern, and jazz dance genres. Her passion and emphasis on technique have established her as an accomplished teacher, choreographer, and studio owner, where she inspires the next generation of dancers to achieve their dreams.

  • Christy McCord (Owner/Instructor)

Ballet, Pointe, Acrobatics, Tap and Pre-School Dance

A true Southern ballerina, Christy Beals McCord was born and raised in Nashville, where she began dancing at the age of two. Her early training at multiple studios, many of which offered scholarships, laid the foundation for her lifelong passion for dance. Under the guidance of Patricia Hill, Christy found her dance home and embarked on her journey to become a teacher.

Trained in the Cecchetti ballet method, she thrived in a rigorous three-year program that led her to earn multiple teaching certifications. Christy holds ballet, jazz, tap, and acrobatics certifications from the Southern Association of Dance Masters and the Chicago National Association of Dance Masters. Additionally, she has earned certificates in youth fitness and barre fitness from the American Sports and Fitness Association.

As a board member of the Southern Association of Dance Masters, Christy is dedicated to helping young dancers flourish. After years of performing—whether auditioning for The Nutcracker or showcasing her talents on Music Row—her heart always returned to teaching. She emphasizes the importance of technique and terminology, striving to instill a deep understanding in her students. She takes great pride in teaching second-generation dancers, viewing it as one of her greatest compliments.

Christy believes that God has opened doors for her through studio ownership, allowing her to nurture young talent and hold little hands each day. She is happily married to Scott, her "prop guy," and is the proud mother of four, grandmother of two, with another grandchild on the way.

She then moved to Patricia Hill dance studio at age 4 and stayed until Mrs. Hill’s retirement.  While dancing at Patricia Hill she also studied with Centennial Performing Arts Studios at Metro Parks for 8 years. Mary continued her training after Mrs. Hill’s retirement with The Dance Centre of Hermitage under the instruction of Debbie Taylor.  While dancing with The Dance Centre of Hermitage Mary participated in their competition team and became a certified dance instructor of ballet, tap, jazz, and acrobatics through the Southern Association of Dance Masters (SADM). Mary attended high school at Nashville School of the Arts (NSA) with a major in Dance. While attending NSA she was part of their advanced dance classes, The Mark of NSA competition team, and was given the opportunity to audition and study dance in California with Debbie Allen in the Debbie Allen summer intensive (Best Summer Ever!). • Meaghan Porter

    Tap, Jazz, Lyrical and Ballet

Meaghan Porter began dancing at the age of six at Patricia Hill School of Dance. (Fun fact: Christy M. was one of her first teachers!) She received her teaching certification through the Southern Association of Dance Masters and taught ballet, tap, jazz, and acrobatics at the Dance Centre of Hermitage while pursuing her BA in English at Belmont University in Nashville. She received an MA in Writing and Publishing from Emerson College in Boston, creating a tap dance workbook for her thesis project. In Boston, Meaghan studied with tap teachers Julia Boynton and Pamela Raff, as well as taking master classes from Dianne Walker, Josh Hilberman, and Aaron Tolson.

Meaghan returned to Nashville to develop and edit Vacation Bible School curriculum for the United Methodist Publishing House. While there, she choreographed the music videos for Cokesbury’s VBS programs and coached the child talent on set. She then served in various editorial roles at W Publishing, a division of HarperCollins Christian Publishers. Currently, she is a senior editor for Harper Focus, a collection of general-market nonfiction imprints. She has edited books by NASCAR notables Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Kelley Earnhardt Miller, Internet sensations Penn and Kim Holderness, pop star Meghan Trainer, and dancers Laurianne Gibson and Allison Holker.

As a dance teacher, Meaghan believes deeply in Mrs. Hill’s philosophy that there is something special in every child that can be nurtured in the dance studio. In her free time, Meaghan follows the Red Sox, NASCAR, gymnastics, and figure skating; adds books to her TBR pile faster than she can read them; and comes up with more ideas for dances than she could ever possibly choreograph. She lives with her husband, their tween daughter, and their cat in Donelson.

  • Nick Bundy

Nicholas graduated from West Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance. While there, he performed with the Lone Star Ballet company in shows such as The Nutcracker, Coppelia, an Irish Ballet, among others as well as teaching at the WTAMU Dance Academy. Following graduation, he took to the seas and performed for 8 years as a Swing, Singer Dancer, and Dance Captain aboard Crystal Cruise Lines & Norwegian Cruise Lines, as well as spending a year as a lead vocalist with Princess Cruises.

"I love the journey a dancer goes on when they learn a new dance. One day it might simply be the fun of running through the choreography, and then next day it might be emotional and an expression of that emotion through the same choreography. It's beautiful and different each day, and I love getting a front seat to that kind of story." - Nicholas
