  • Ballet

    A classical dance form demanding grace and precision and employing formalized steps and gestures set in intricate, flowing patterns to create expression through movement. We teach Cecchetti method ballet, the training method seeks to develop essential skills in dancers as well as strength and elasticity.

    Cecchetti-trained dancers are commonly found in ballet and other dance companies throughout the world.

  • Tap

    A form of dance that uses the sounds of taps striking the floor as a form of percussion; it is often accompanied by music. Rhythm, improvisation, and body movements are all key components of this dance style.

  • acrobatics

    Acrobatics is the performance of floor tumbling, balance, agility, and motor coordination. An Acrobatic trick is done when the hips pass over the shoulders. We step teach Acrobatics, this means we build up to each trick, as one is completed we move on to a more difficult trick. All of our Acrobatic instructors are certified to spot our dancers.

  • Jazz

    Jazz dance may allude to vernacular jazz, broadway contemporary jazz or dramatic jazz.

    Jazz dance is characterized by its vibrant movements, syncopated rhythms, isolations, intricate footwork, and expressive body movements.

  • Muscal Theater

    Musical theatre is a form of theatrical performance that combines songs, spoken dialogue, acting and dance.

  • Hip-hop

    Hip Hop is a form of street dance that began as a freestyle dance, that uses body movement to create rhythm while performing hip-hop music. 


  • Lyrical

    Lyrical dance is a dance style that embodies various aspects of ballet, jazz, acrobatics and modern dance. The style combines ballet technique with the freedom and musicality of jazz and contemporary.

  • Modern//Contempory

    Modern Dance is a dance discipline retaining some ballet technique, expanding upon it and freeing it to encompass the exciting world of total body involvement and creative expression.

    Modern dance may look jazz like, balletic, lyrical or totally different – creating its style for the mood being explored.

  • Pointe

    Pointe Class requires a special type of shoe, called “Pointe Shoes”.

    Ballet Class is danced in soft flat shoes “flats”

    Pointe class specifically focuses on dancing on the tips of the toes (en pointe) using pointe shoes, which have a reinforced toe box to support the dancer's weight.

    Pre-Pointe in the summer is pre-requisite to taking a Pointe class.
